Refurbished Vintage Roots Turquoise/Natural Leather French Market Tote Bag

Truth: I used to work for Roots.  It was a million years ago in the days when they made all their clothes, shoes and handbags in Canada.  I was the product knowledge queen, and still remember very clearly that Roots uses only the top 10% of hides available. This tote is no exception. The top and straps are made of natural vegetable tanned leather and the body is a full grain soft turquoise leather with a snappy coral colored full grain tassel accent too!  This is a great bag for every day use, market use, and is large enough to easily carry a laptop, water bottle, and all the other daily necessities.

~CONDITION:
Now? Fabulous vintage condition!  When it came to the Villa?  Oof.  The vegetable tanned leather was covered in water stains that we weren't sure would come out in refurbishing!  They did, thanks to saddle soap, carefully applied, then a special conditioner that would not discolor the leather.  The remainder of the bag and the talle/hangtag were both conditioned and the interior cleaned and disinfected as well in preparation for it's exciting next chapter of life.
