Vintage Sadler 80s Clarice Cliff Inspired Blue Trees Teapot and Pair of Mugs Set
Whether you want tea for two, or to enjoy a couple of cuppas for yourself, this set will let you do it in style! This teapot and pair of tea cups was made in the 80s by Sadler in the style of Clarice Cliff's Bizarre Ware in a pattern called Blue Trees; featuring large blue trees in front of an orange sky, with mint green cypress trees in the background. Originally designed in the 1930's, one can only imagine how shocking the silhouettes and patterns were in the Art Deco era.

~CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition. These are new old stock and are chip and fleabite free, the glaze is not crazed either. The only callout to make is there are 2 spots of missing glaze on the lid as shown in a closeup photo; that's a manufacturing blip worth noting so you don't think it's a chip. This set has been carefully washed (to keep the sticker intact) and hand dried in preparation to brighten someone's day!
